It is about 3:00 am in the morning, a one-way drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel. Both temples were discovered in 1813 and were almost completely covered with sand. Then both temples were moved in 1960 with the help of the Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile.
